It was a humbling and inspiring experience working with Pearl Dick's "Project Fire" and her team on the West Side of Chicago. Several artists including Gordon Smith, Mayauel Ward, Damen McNaught, Andrew Najarian and myself had an opportunity to work with these amazing young people which have been victims of gun violence. Project Fire is a sanctuary glass studio for these teenagers to help them get off the gang-filled streets and help them heal through glass art.
